“Calibri" Can a Font Be "Woke"?

This year, Snow White and Superman have come under attack as being rewritten to be “woke.” But last week, Secretary of State Marco Rubio issued a directive that the U.S. State Department would no longer use the Calibri font to “abolish yet another wasteful DEIA program.” This week, Milton Alan Turner discusses whether or not a font can actually be “woke” and why some stories are changed to conform with modern sensitivities.
