While engaging enough I listened to the whole series. But parts were like huh? Who was the kid who gets drafted to be the sidekick of who exactly? His bizarre, nonsensical reactions to situations the setup had you believe he'd approach sensibly was just weird. He seemed annoyed that he'd been specifically chosen for his smarts to go on an important but completely undefined assignment. Listening to the important woman boss eat and drink for the first episode was gross.

So much bad or mediocre sci-fi to get through waiting for that next outstanding author. I'd grade this a high C/low B.

Audible makes it difficult to listen to the 13 episodes back to back. I am nothing if not determined. At a certain point I figured a way to sort of make it work, if only, finally, out of the great motivator - spite.
