Homeschool burnout is real — and this is your safe space to breathe.

If you’re a Christian homeschool mom feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or stretched thin — whether you’re just starting out, a few years in, or a seasoned veteran who’s hitting a wall — you are in the right place.

Welcome to Catch Your Breath with Inga, the podcast for homeschool moms who need more than curriculum tips. You need someone to meet you right where you are — on the hard days, the doubtful days, the I-didn’t-sign-up-for-this-feeling days — and remind you that what you’re feeling is normal, your calling is real, and you are not alone.

Here’s what you won’t find on this podcast: shame, guilt, or a checklist of everything you should be doing. Your homeschool doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s. It doesn’t have to check anyone else’s boxes. It just has to be yours — beautifully, faithfully, perfectly imperfect.

Each episode is your permission slip to slow down, laugh a little, and remember that God didn’t call you to do this perfectly. He called you — and He’s not finished with what He’s doing in you and through you, right there at your kitchen table.

So grab your coffee or tea, take a breath, and let’s do this together — with less burnout, more joy, and grace for every messy, meaningful day.

Friend, you were made for this. And you don’t have to do it alone.

Topics covered: homeschool burnout, Christian homeschool mom encouragement, homeschool stress and overwhelm, faith-based homeschooling, homeschool mom identity, homeschool wellness, imperfect homeschooling, homeschool anxiety, Christian motherhood, homeschool coaching

  • 73//More Homeschool Truths We’d Only Admit to Friends — Part 2 (The Ones I Didn’t Say Last Week)
    Mar 1 2026

    Hey friend,

Last week we started a conversation about the truths we’d only say to someone we really trust.

And after I hit publish, I knew there were a few more sitting there. So this episode is just that.

    We’re still at the table.

    Still with our coffee.

Still talking about the things that are true — even when they’re not always easy to say.

If you listened to Part One and felt understood, this one goes a little further.

    Your One Thing for Today:

Think about the part you almost said last week — and didn’t.

Say it now. To someone safe.

And if this episode felt like continuing a conversation you needed, share it with another homeschool mom and invite her to sit with us.

  • 72//Homeschool Truths We’d Only Admit to Friends
    Feb 20 2026

    Hey friend,

    This episode is simple.

It’s the kind of conversation you’d have sitting across from a close friend — coffee in hand — when you finally say the thing you don’t usually say in bigger spaces.

The truth you’d only admit to someone you trust.

The kind of honesty that starts with, “Okay… can I just say something?”

That’s what we’re talking about today.

So grab your coffee. Or your tea. Or whatever’s in your cup.

And let’s talk about the truths we’d only say to a friend.

    Your One Thing for Today:

Text one safe friend and tell her a truth you've been afraid to admit. Better yet, ask her to meet you for a cup coffee so you both have a moment to share- and breathe!

And, if this episode felt like sitting at a table with someone who gets it, share it with another homeschool mom and invite her to the conversation too.

  • 71//Finding Yourself in the Middle of Homeschool Mom Life
    Feb 13 2026

    Hey friend,

A listener asked a question that I think many of us have felt at one point or another as homeschooling moms.

She said, “I love homeschooling. I love my family. I do love my life. But what about me? What’s my thing? Who am I outside of everyone else needing something from me?”

And I don’t think she’s alone in that.

So in this episode, we’re talking about what happens when your days revolve around kids and lessons and church and marriage and responsibilities — and somewhere in the middle of all of that, you realize you don’t really know where you fit anymore.

You can love your life and still ask that question. And it isn’t about becoming self-focused. It’s about wholeness.

It’s about remembering that God created you as a whole woman — not just a role.

Tune in and let me know if you can relate, then
