  • Summary

  • On Buried Bones, journalist Kate Winkler Dawson and retired investigator Paul Holes dissect some of history’s most compelling true crime cases from centuries ago. Together, they explore these very old cases through a 21st century lens. With their years of expertise and knowledge of modern forensics, they reflect on how far science has come and bring new insight to old mysteries. Together, Kate and Paul have examined many cases including the 1932 Lindbergh baby kidnapping, the first time fingerprinting was used as evidence in a courtroom and a possible serial killer in 1960s Nashville. So interesting

Especially in recent episodes they've managed to really mesh their different areas of expertise very well to lay out well-researched and interesting crimes

Love the Content

Kate can be annoying. She’s asks Paul questions, but answers them with her opinion first . I don’t know if she’s really awkward , but asks questions with the intent on just talking herself. I want to like her so much. Maybe she’s just uncomfortable

fish talk with Paul holes🤣🤣

I absolutely love this podcast. Kate is a amazing story teller, and Paul's expertise voices so many of the questions that run throw your head as you hear these cases. I also live and appreciate the chit chat, they both are professionals, but the banter "lightens the load" on what is in fact a heavy subject matter.

Paul Holes in action

I loved the way the story of the crime investigation unfolds step by step as well as listening to the hunkster unravel the clues. The hour flew by. Can’t wait for next week’s episode!
