  • S13 E3: Spain 1994 - F1 in crisis, Schumacher's heroics and Hill's emotional win
    Apr 15 2026

Bring Back V10s dives into the chaos of May and June 1994 as we look back on that year's Spanish Grand Prix, which came just a month after the tragedies of Imola.

With the world still reeling from the loss of Ayrton Senna and Roland Ratzenberger, F1 found itself under fire following further heavy accidents for Pedro Lamy in testing and Karl Wendlinger in Monaco.

Glenn Freeman, Edd Straw and Ben Anderson look at how F1's political landscape exploded during this period, with FIA president Max Mosley seeing an opportunity to force through change, which caused a backlash in some parts of the paddock.

We explore how that spread into the Barcelona weekend, with several teams boycotting first practice, and drivers forcing a terrible chicane made of tyres to be installed on the track.

The weekend also marked David Coulthard's F1 debut as talk of Nigel Mansell returning to Williams dominated the headlines, while Michael Schumacher put in one of his most famous drives to finish second while stuck in fifth gear.

Ahead of Schumacher, Damon Hill claimed a much-needed first win of the season for Williams, which prompted a huge outpouring of emotion within the team after what had been a horrible few weeks for everyone who worked there.

  • S13 E2: Jaguar's nightmare debut season
    Apr 1 2026

Jaguar's terrible first F1 season in 2000 is the subject of episode two of season 13 of Bring Back V10s. Glenn Freeman is joined by two people who worked in the Jaguar F1 system that year: technical director Gary Anderson, and The Race's Andrew van de Burgt, who ran the Jaguar Racing website in 2000!

We look back over the whole year in detail, from the rebrand of Stewart Grand Prix, to high pre-season expectations, problems in testing, and a season that was largely a nightmare on track while Ford created plenty of high-level disruption off-track.

Gary explains what he saw going on behind the scenes and tells the story of how he knew his time was up at the end of the season, plus he gives technical insight on the problems both Jaguar and Cosworth were having for much of the year.

  • Senna vs Schumacher: The flashpoints
    Mar 19 2026

Bring Back V10s returns! And we're kicking off Season 13 with something a bit different, as we revisit the major flashpoints in the short-lived Ayrton Senna/Michael Schumacher F1 rivalry.

Glenn Freeman, Ben Anderson and Edd Straw dig into the times Senna and Schumacher fell out during their brief spell together on the F1 grid - and yes, that includes Senna's iconic public telling off that he gave Schumacher at the 1992 French Grand Prix while wearing a pastel jumper!

We also explore how their relationship and rivalry appeared to be evolving heading into 1994, and how Schumacher handled the loss of Senna that year, both publicly and in private.
