  • I talked with Brent Smedly, the Drummer and co-founder for the band, Out Of Darkness. We heard about the bands beginnings and current status after some touring of the southern states and up along the east coast. Brent clues us in on the bands future the next album still in the recording process and some of his influences as a drummer.

    Based out of the state of Florida Out Of Darkness is a band not to be taken lightly. Formed in late 2019 after founding members drummer Brent “Deadly” Smedley of the band Iced Earth and vocalist/guitarist Eric Barrios met through a mutual friend. After the pair stopped at a local jam night they soon discovered they had an instant musical chemistry. It was from this night Out Of Darkness was born.
