Many of these institutions that fought to keep DEI, even as they were directed by the White House to dismantle the programs, just changed the narrative, changed the definition, changed the language a little bit and voila, it's DEI only by a different name. Owen Anderson, an Arizona State professor, has taken his university to court for forcing him to take DEI training, despite a state law that says he doesn't have to take it.
