She's an amazing young mum who's overcome the odds and created a beautiful life for her family, which now also includes a kitten.

Shannon could have become just another 'statistic', having grown up in a relatively low socio-economic area, and falling pregnant at a very young age. She chose instead though, to set out on her own with her daughter and eventually created a thriving business which allowed her to take back control of her life.
