The Brew Crew celebrates their 30th anniversary episode and the end of Season 3 live from Simple Machine Brewing, joined by Marshall and Eric (who is busy with his "Taste of AZ" venture). The episode highlights a new collaboration with Simple Machine: the "Turntable Session," an Australian-Style XPA which will be available on tap at the brewery on December 12th (the same day the episode posts)! The unique XPA style, pitched by Matty, is a lower ABV beer between a Pale Ale and an IPA, a profile influenced by Australia's alcohol-based taxation. In a hilarious confession, one host reveals they initially "fudged the truth" to get the editing job, using Adobe Rush on an iPhone to produce the early videos—a true "fake it till you make it" story. They also discuss the podcast's evolution from a MacBook and two cell phones to their current impressive setup, and their ultimate goal of producing an Arizona Brewery documentary after being inspired by Marshall's interview with the owner of Sedona Brewing Company.
