Android Listeners Out of Luck

Great everything. So much so, I would gladly pay for each "This Week in Court" episode. Maybe let people without Apple devices pay to get access to those?

Fascinating

I’m only half way through but had to let you know how fascinating and well done I think this is. I find the way it’s presented really holds my attention and I just want to keep listening. I also admire your integrity as a reporter. Excellent job and I can’t wait to hear more!

Better than any fiction you can read.

I have been following the Theranos story for quite a while, and have been continuously amazed at the volume of evidence of fraud and deceit this author and others are still uncovering. The picture of this self-entitled, narcissistic, 19 year old defrauding wealthy old men is not near as frightening as her callous indifference to the patients who received (and made healthcare decisions based on) faulty, inaccurate blood tests. The picture of big business this reveals is frightening. When a pretty girl can cosplay herself into running a 9 billion dollar startup, we know Silicon Valley is in trouble.

As for the Svengali defense, it is an insult to abused women everywhere that she would present this as an excuse and justification for her crimes. I can only hope jurors see through the 10 figure legal team's defense arguments and convict her. sending her to prison for a couple of decades is likely the only chance her little girl will have to be raised with a moral compass.

Kudos to John Carreyrou and his team for his stories in the WSJ, his book and this excellent podcast.

Great reporting, wanted more content on Trial

I have been following the Theranos story since Elizabeth Holmes was indicted in 2018.  Mr. Carreyrou was my first and go-to source for all things Theranos, so I was very interested in following this podcast during the trial.  Mr. Carreyrou’s reporting is, as always, thorough.  Over the course of the episodes he introduces new information providing fresh and interesting insight into the fall of Theranos (i.e. the Roger Parloff tapes).  What I found lacking was the week-to-week analysis of the trial itself.  In my opinion another podcast covering the same subject matter was far more engaging.  To be fair, Mr. Carreyrou covered that content in another podcast.  However, I was excluded from that content because it was offered specifically behind Apple’s paywall.
