“Arts & Culture should never be diminished because of the way it can bring people together, the way it can empower other people, and the way it can spark that dialogue.” Shaniqua Benjamin

The Human Hive podcast focuses on change making. And one great way we believe we can make lasting change for people and planet is through the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

However, we believe there is one SDG missing… Arts and Culture.

Arts and Culture is an incredibly important way for us to facilitate change, both in our own lives and the world around us.

Art brings different people together, enriches our lives, allows means of personal expression, and gives people purpose. And culture weaves itself through every aspect of our lives, helping us to appreciate each other and our diversity.

Join us for our very first takeover episode, hosted by Shaniqua Benjamin, poet, writer, creative workshop facilitator, and Croydon’s first Poet Laureate. She will talk about how Arts & Culture impact society and how they can enhance and complement the SDGs.
