  • Anatomy of Friendship: Platonic Intimacy.
    Dec 17 2024

A couple of weeks ago, I talked about The Friend Breakup and it sparked a lot of conversation. There are literally over a thousand comments beneath my various social media posts, and I have since received hundreds of DMs from people wanting to share their story.

In sum, the discussion struck a nerve and I concluded that this topic merited further consideration. I thus asked my friend, Nabiha, to join me for a chat on the Anatomy of Friendship.

  • Is Discipline a Bad Word Now?
    Sep 10 2024

Discipline wants to see you succeed. It is as invested in the goals you set for yourself as you are. And unlike its sexier peers, "inspiration" and "motivation," discipline is loyal, predictable, dependable, consistent. But can it turn toxic? Let's talk about it...

I know logically nothing is perfect and not even this is perfect. BUT, the narration is smooth but not slow for the rhythm of the story. She clearly answers questions 1 by one, easy and comprehensive for all audiences. No gatekeepers in language. It's also light even tho it can get deep and vulnerable when talking of her own life. She makes me feel like someone who really cares about me is sharing with me. And that helps the delivery of everything else that much sweeter and more meaningful. Give her cookbook audio a try too, it's filled with stories that correlate with what her culture and life means to her. All so incredibly relatable and educational for expirences exclusive to her life.

I know all 5 stars is a big rating
