They report her accusations as facts. The never mention Anita Hill’s employment at Dept of Education with Clarence Thomas and her decision to again work with Clarence Thomas at the EEOC. Their ‘story’ of how she came to testify before the Judiciary committee is so incomplete that’s it’s hard to believe it’s not intentional. The hosts are once again snarky and snobby. Anita’s call and request to see Clarence Thomas, in the evening and on his personal time, during his visit to Oklahoma is reported as a ‘having to remain cordial’ with inappropriate male colleague to maintain your career. They ‘report’ Anita Hill had no reason to lie because there was no gain for her despite the obvious gain, to stop his appointment to the Supreme Court. They go on to lionize and glorify Anita Hill for educating the country about sexual harassment, It was “basically unknown before her” according to the hosts. They also credit her testimony as “the thing” that finally enabled congress to get legislation against sexual harassment passed. There is no acknowledgement of the irony of the hosts claim ‘that she had to be telling the truth because there was nothing for her to gain’. They actually ‘report’ the Democratic Party did not want to vote against Clarence Thomas!!!

The retelling of events by ignoring facts.
