  • 249: June Sternbach Goes Guesto Mode
    Apr 1 2026

June Sternbach from Kill The Computer and Ill Conceived goes guesto mode! We have a vibrant and wide-ranging conversation on the things that have us going sicko mode: live comedy, Pokemon, Super Smash Bros Melee, Lost, folk punk, board games where you fuckin lie, and a twitter user dedicated to defending the masculine, Christian values of Ninjago. This one was a great time, and you will have a great time when you listen to it idiot

  • 248: The Slay the Spire 2 Episode
    Mar 25 2026

Smart podcasters doing an episode about a popular new video game would ensure their discussion is broad and accessible to the larger listening audience. Well the Anime Sickos are fucking stupid, so our discussion of the roguelike deckbuilder is intensely specific as we discuss the design intricacies of this incredible game. If you are a gamer, first: I'm sorry. Second: You must play Slay the Spire 2

  • 247: The Devil is Still Real
    Mar 18 2026

The Devil is still real and he's more present than ever! Folks, the horrors are innumerable as the evil country "America" has begun a pointless campaign of death that will only make the world worse. The Sickos discuss and complain about the indignity of living in a world that is so much stupider and crueler than it needs to be. The reason is the Devil is making shit worse.

Thanks to Max Kreisky and Patrick Cosmos for being in our great cold open sketch!

  • 246: The Sickos Read Some Funny Posts
    Mar 4 2026

I never thought it would happen again: it's a posting episode. The Sickos go nuts over an instant classic thread about a bus driver gone rogue, share the best Steam update of all time (and possibly a reverse wife post?), discover "the Epstein Files of your generation," and learn about the Leviathan, a type of MALE creature that some allege can kick Godzilla's ass. It was not easy to find enough posts that actually are fun to read, but we did it!

Thanks to Jacob Dallas for playing James Cameron in the cold open sketch!

  • 245: You Live Here Too
    Feb 18 2026

For a while we have struggled to come up with anything to add about All The Horrors: after all, you live here too! That's when it hit us: that's the point. You live here too! We dive into this deep truth, how it exposes the evil in the hearts of ICE, the foolishness of awful elected Dems, and the beautiful solidarity among those attacked by the fascists. You live here too!!

    Feb 11 2026

Jacob Dallas of Worker's Lit goes guesto mode! We discuss his new fantasy novel, They Called Her Rebel, the canon length of orc arms (long), how gaming influences the writing process, and why it kicks ass when books have a funny map in the front. Check it out!

  • 243: The Sickos x Kame House Party Talk Dragonball Daima
    Jan 28 2026

Aaron and Vince from Kame House Party join the Sickos to talk about Dragonball Daima, a new Dragonball anime we somehow barely heard about. Turns out it's great! A little cartoon devil from Halloween turns all the Dragonball characters into muppet babies so they can sell more anime figures. There's a hollow earth where robot bugs make you do puzzles. It's great.

  • 242: The Chair Company Episode
    Jan 14 2026

The Sickos go absolutely nuts over our favorite guy Tim Robinson and his unbelievable new comedy/thriller show The Chair Company. To watch this show is like watching a master martial artist transcend his physical limits and learn how to shoot energy beams. Students of comedy must understand what he is doing here...this is an all-time talent at work
