Many believers approach prayer with uncertainty, as though access to God must still be earned.

However, Scripture reveals a different reality.

Through the finished work of Jesus Christ, our access to the Father has been fully restored. As our great High Priest, Christ has opened the way for us to come before God with confidence, not hesitation.

    In this message, we explore:

    • The restoration of access through the cross

    • The role of Christ as our High Priest

    • The foundation of boldness in prayer

    • Why confidence is rooted in Christ, not in human effort

This sermon calls us to move from striving in prayer to standing in the confidence that Christ has secured.

Resurrection Sunday is more than a celebration of life—it is a declaration of authority.

When Jesus rose from the dead, He was not only vindicated—He was enthroned. The resurrection reveals that Christ is seated at the right hand of God, far above all rule, authority, and power.

In this message, we explore the implications of the resurrection for the believer:

    • The resurrection establishes Christ’s authority

    • Authority precedes the mission of the church

    • Prayer flows from our union with the risen Christ

    • Believers are sent as ambassadors of the King

This message will help you move from simply believing in the resurrection to living in the reality of Christ’s authority.

Good Friday is not just a moment of remembrance—it is a declaration of accomplishment.

When Jesus said, “It is finished,” He was not expressing defeat. He was announcing that the work of redemption had been completed in full.

In this message, we explore the meaning and power of the cross:

    • The cancellation of the record of debt

    • The restoration of covenant access to God

    • The defeat of every opposing power

    • The ongoing reality of the blood of Jesus speaking on our behalf

Because of the cross, we no longer approach God from a distance, but through a finished work.

This message will help you understand why the cross is not only central to salvation, but also the foundation of your access to God.

    What does prayer actually do?

In this final message from The Genesis & Authority of Prayer series, we explore the true function of prayer through Jesus’ teaching in Matthew 6:9–10. Prayer is not just about speaking to God—it is about aligning with His will so that His Kingdom is expressed in the earth.

Through Christ, believers have access to God and are invited to participate in what He is doing. Prayer becomes the place where heaven’s reality begins to touch earthly situations.

This message will help you move beyond routine prayer and understand how prayer connects you to God’s purposes.

What does it really mean to pray “in Jesus’ name”?

In this message from our series The Genesis & Authority of Prayer, we explore the biblical foundation of prayer through the lens of Jesus as our Great High Priest. In the Old Testament, access to God was limited and mediated through the High Priest, who entered the Most Holy Place once a year on behalf of the people.

But Hebrews 4 reveals that Jesus has entered God’s presence once for all—and now invites us to draw near with confidence.

Prayer is no longer based on our performance or worthiness. It is based on Christ’s finished work and His ongoing representation before the Father.

This episode will help you understand what it means to pray in Jesus’ name and restore your confidence to approach God boldly.

  • How the Fall Twisted Prayer, And How Christ Restores It | Past. O. Smith | AFM MICC

Why do believers often struggle to pray, even when they love God?

In this message from our series The Genesis & Authority of Prayer, we examine the moment prayer was first distorted. Genesis 3 reveals how fear and shame entered the human heart, leading Adam to hide from the presence of God.

But the story does not end there.

Romans 5 shows that while sin entered through one man, grace now reigns through Jesus Christ. In the garden of Gethsemane, the Second Adam faced overwhelming pressure and chose obedience: “Not My will, but Yours be done.”

Through Christ, access to God is restored. Prayer is no longer driven by fear or shame, but by grace and restored relationship.

This episode explores how the fall fractured communion with God—and how Jesus restores our confidence to draw near again.

    Scripture:

    Genesis 3:1–13

    Romans 5:12–17

    Matthew 26:36–39

    Why does prayer exist?

Is it just a religious practice, or does it have a deeper biblical foundation?

In this message from our series The Genesis & Authority of Prayer, we return to Genesis 1:26–28 to rediscover God’s original design for humanity. Psalm 8 reveals that mankind was “crowned with glory and honor,” yet Hebrews 2 reminds us that we do not yet see everything under human rule — “but we see Jesus.”

Through Christ, the Second Adam, what was fractured in the fall is restored. Prayer is not begging a distant God; it is alignment with the reign of the risen King. It is how heaven’s will is expressed on earth.

If you are exploring the purpose of prayer, spiritual authority, the Kingdom of God, or what it means to live as an image-bearer of Christ, this teaching will ground you in Scripture and point you clearly to Jesus.

    KINGDOM FINANCES – WEEK 4

    📖 2 Corinthians 8:1–9

We closed our “Kingdom Finances” series not with a principle — but with grace.

Paul reminds us that the churches in Macedonia gave generously, not because they had surplus, but because the grace of God was at work in them.

And then he anchors everything in the King:

“Though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you by His poverty might become rich.”

    In the Kingdom of God:

    • Generosity begins with surrender

    • Participation is a privilege

    • Love cannot be forced

    • Grace is the motive

    Before we ever gave anything,

    the King gave Himself.

As we came to the Lord’s Table, we were reminded that Christian generosity does not flow from pressure — it flows from beholding Christ.

We do not give to earn grace.

We give because we have received grace.

May we continue to live as a Kingdom people, shaped by the self-giving love of our King.
