How much time and energy have you spent picking yourself apart in the mirror, judging your body, and feeling like you are never doing enough?
For a lot of people, that mental battle has been going on for decades. Not because you failed, but because the game was set up in a way that taught you to chase weight loss as the answer to how you feel about yourself.
In this episode, I talk about why weight loss was sold as a shortcut to confidence, why you were never taught how to build a real foundation, and why tactics without a foundation never last. I break down why exercise and an eating plan matter, but only as part of a bigger picture that includes how you think, how you treat yourself, and how you live your life.
I also share why your health habits should matter about as much as brushing your teeth. Important, consistent, part of your life, but not something you destroy yourself over when you miss a day.
You do not have to live in a constant mental tug of war. You do not have to keep losing a game you were never given the rules to. There is another way to do this, and that way is the inside/out approach.
This episode is about building a foundation, letting go of the war with your body, and finally giving yourself a way forward that does not require shame, punishment, or tearing yourself down.
