I am fascinated by history and always look for good accounts that aren't too fanciful but also aren't so heavy on the facts and dates that you can't follow along. I have been visiting Romania for 5 years now, and have travelled around many parts of it and seen the epic Roman ruins Ulpia Traiana Sarmizegetusa, the Roman baths at Germisara Geoagiu and Cluj Napoca and it's been wonderful to learn a deeper history behind these sights and locations. Please keep doing what you are doing! There is not a lot of information on Romanian history in English and since a grasp of the Romanian language has continued to elude me, this is perfect. I have not been this impressed with a historical podcast since going through all of Mike Duncan's works

Next best thing since Mike Duncan's history of Rome

Thoroughly enjoying the series so far. If you enjoy history and love a great plot, this is a good podcast for you. Can’t wait for the next episode. This is better than Game of Thrones, and it actually happened, to boot.
