A Good Cry

By: Headgum Radio Point
  • Summary

  • Michael Cruz Kayne chats with friends, comedians and other notable types about grief. Not just the hard parts, but also the memories that make us laugh, the dumb stuff people said to us, and the way we recovered... or didn't. Each episode is a funny, joyful, and also sometimes really really sad reflection on grief, but that's ok. Good even.

This is such an AMAZING podcast!!!

I LOVE this podcast! 4 years after losing my 3 year old daughter, and finding making people laughs helps me, this podcast is right on time. I was unsure whether is was OK to make others laugh when I felt so much or nothing.

I wasn't sure how I was supposed to behave and I seemed to be failing at that too.

So I started looking up comedians as I found people found me funny and I wanted to know whether they used real life as their comedy.

And through my search, I came across this podcast.

I cried, I laughed and I felt that I was able to breathe again. Others were talking about their grief, allowing themselves to cry and having a laugh too.

It is so refreshing.

THANK YOU!

This does help heaps!
