Egypt died because of an “oops”! How sad & tragic!

The presentation (narrative) allowed us ( the listeners) to become part of the story. Felt connected to the characters, their frustrations & emotions…so sorry feelings of division remained among Egypt’s loved ones even after the crime was solved. Prayerfully over time this will end. Otherwise, evil is allowed to have the last word.

Outsiders have a clearer picture

Lindsey revealed Kenny was not guilty. She just brought out the egos of people forcing the idea instead of actually doing the investigation. Egypt’s family is lucky Lindsey came along with fresh eyes and no shaded views.

The world needs more people like Lindsey and Egypt’s Brother! The emotional impact was hard enough but they never gave up!

Bad narration, good story

I generally like Dateline stories. But I am so tired of the stylized pattern of intonation that seems to be the trend among professional narrators. Almost every sentence has the same inflexion pattern. It is lazy and for me detracts from the words. I tried for a while to ignore it but it now drives me away from the shows I used to enjoy.
