Welcome to A Cultural Shift – I’m so glad you’re here. I’m Lea, and if we’ve never met, let me say—I’ve lived a full and somewhat unconventional life. Much of it has been spent in Africa, serving as a missionary with my husband and our children. Africa continues to shape how I see the world, and it inspires so much of what I share here. Life has taken me through one cultural and personal shift after another. And while some of those changes were exciting, others were disorienting. But through it all, I’ve found a constant: Jesus. He’s been my anchor in the middle of every transition—my steady Helper when things felt anything but steady. A Cultural Shift is my space to tell those stories—about cross-cultural life, spiritual growth, and finding grace in the middle of change. I hope that as you listen, you’ll feel encouraged to explore your own shifts and discover just how present God is in all of them. Let’s not just survive change—let’s learn to enjoy the journey together. Because even with the bumps along the way, life is beautiful.
