A Conversation About "Take Care of Maya"

Robby and Sammi planned to release a different episode this week, but then they stumbled upon the Netflix documentary Take Care of Maya which looks into the horrific story of Maya Kowalski who was held in a Florida hospital for 3 months after her mother was accused of Munchausen by proxy. Maya was diagnosed by multiple doctors with complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), and there are times in the film where she speaks about medical professionals doubting the severity, or even existence, of her pain and her distrust of the medical community after what happened to her.
