9. Knowing Him - Step into Healing - Audio

As we continue through the book of John in our series, “Knowing Him,” we start off this weekend with a man who had been an invalid for 38 years. He had tried on his own for some time to find healing, but now he looks directly into the face of someone who can COMPLETELY heal him — physically AND SPIRITUALLY!!! Will he take Jesus at His word and take his first step or will he continue to lay down in disbelief? We all have hurts and wounds from which we need healing. The question is: where are we seeking for healing? Everyone seems more than willing to provide an answer… (often for quite the financial drop, too, am I right?). Some offer solutions that have been formed solely in the mind of man. Others make their advice sound pretty spiritual by using God’s name and word, but the root is self-righteous and leads to legalism. The truth is that real healing comes when we turn our eyes solely to God, fall on His grace and take the steps He tells us to take.
