For the first time ever on the show, I got to sit down with a married couple, Jamie and Derek Phelps. The ex-Austinites tell us what motivated them to move to Colorado to parent their now 5 ½ year old son. We discuss the struggles of managing fight or flight when our kids yell at us, and how a little perspective can help you love the phase of parenthood you’re in, no matter how frustrating it can sometimes be.
