466. Reappropriating Feminism, Maternity, and the Woman’s Role | Mary Harrington

  • Resumen

  • Dr. Jordan Peterson sits down with author and columnist Mary Harrington. They discuss how women contributed to civil society before joining the workforce, the fatal flaw of a male-dominated system, the two fundamental reproductive strategies, the commodification of female sexuality, and the utility of radical loyalty and solidarity between partners.

Mary Harrington is an editor for UnHerd and the author of “Feminism Against Progress.” Harrington also runs a weekly Substack, “Reactionary Feminist.”

a deep feminist thinker

often Jordan feels the urge to jump in and give his buck twenty on whatever topic if the guest is not sufficiently articulate. however, this time he sat silent as she explains the entire history of feminist thought, it's inflection points, it's current Geography, and how something of a pro motherhood feminism might be salvaged. truly a tour de force and I can't wait to listen to her book.
