If you are running a lawn care business you have to know your cost of doing business, your break even. In this episode I give you the formula for calculating your break even number.
Break Even Formula:
Total Overhead / Amount of Lawns = overhead per lawn per season
Overhead Per Lawn Per Season / Number of Total Cuts for the season = Break Even Per Lawn
Knowing your break even number per lawn gives you a baseline of what you MUST charge per lawn to break even. Everything on top of that is profit. It is extremely important to know your break even number.
