• Lessons From King David
    May 16 2024

The Bible calls King David a man after God's own heart. Why? What exactly did David do in God's eyes to earn that kind of title?

One reason we know for certain is because David had great faith in God’s Word, and stood bravely before the enemy. He also displayed humility, recognizing that his strength and victories came from God and not Himself. In addition, he didn't just obey God's Word, he had a genuine love for it. In Psalm 119 we read how David's words, "My soul breaks with longing For Your judgments at all times" and "Your testimonies also are my delight…"

Would you be called a man or woman after God's own heart? Listen as Bill and his wife Annette share more about David and his Godly character.

  • How Many People Are In Hell?
    May 9 2024

Two people die every second of every day. And how many of those even believe hell is real? If one doesn’t believe in it, how can they escape from it? The Bible gives us a few verses that indicate there are many going to hell, and few that will enter Heaven. We can only assume what percentage a few is.

When God flooded the entire earth and saved only Noah and his family, there were only eight people found righteous. Some scholars believe that there would have been at least 1.5 billion people on the earth at that time, and yet only eight were saved.

Is it really few who will make it to heaven? Are you one of them?

  • Is Anyone In Paradise Today?
    May 2 2024

In Luke 16 Jesus gave an account of a rich man in hell. In doing so He revealed much information to us about hell and a place called Paradise, which is also referred to as “Abraham’s Bosom.” We know that t his story was not a parable, but an actual account of a true story for two reasons:

    1. No parable has a name mentioned. This has three, Abraham, Lazarus and Moses.

    2. In verses 25 and 29 Jesus indicates "Abraham said" and then continues to tell us the words Abraham spoke. Jesus is quoting Abraham. If it were just a parable, then Jesus would have been lying to share words that Abraham had said. Since Jesus is no liar we can be sure He described an actual incident.

The question is, "Is anyone in Paradise now?"

  • The Spirits In Prison
    Apr 25 2024

“So he went and preached to the spirits in prison...those who disobeyed God long ago when God waited patiently while Noah was building his boat. Only eight people were saved from drowning in that terrible flood." - 1 Peter 3:19-20

Who exactly were the spirits Jesus preached to in this verse? This incident is found now where else in the Bible. Though opinions vary on this topic, I believe the scriptures indicate that the spirits in prison were the rebellious people who rejected God and Noah’s preaching before the great flood.

  • How Does God Feel For Those In Hell?
    Apr 18 2024

God is grieved to see any of His creation going to hell. He gave His life on the cross and paid the price for our sins, so no one has to go there if they would repent. He loves everyone, and His desire is that everyone would receive His gift of salvation. 2 Peter 3:9 tells us, “(He is) not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”

However, some people are so full of wickedness and evil that the scriptures also tell us He will not shed a tear for them when they are cast into hell. In God’s eyes, a wicked person is one who rejects Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Remember that all of us were considered wicked, and destined for hell at one time.

  • Are You Ready For What's Coming?
    Apr 11 2024

We have all been witness to the disasters, storms, fires, wars, and unusual occurrences taking place in our world. Jesus said these things would take place in the last days, but the end would not be quite yet. He said these are the birth pains, and once birth pains begin, they become more intense and more frequent. It isn’t any one of these events that is unusual. It is the acceleration and convergence of so many occurring at the same time. This should get our attention and make us look up! Jesus said, “Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”

Are you prepared for what’s coming? Learn more on this topic with Bill and his wife Annette in today's episode.

  • Why Does God Allow Evil?
    Apr 4 2024

Evil exists in the world because Satan is the god of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4). Jesus told us in John 10:10, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” The killing, stealing and destroying are not from God, but from Satan.

Another reason for the rampant evil in the world is that God's people don't pray. Jesus told us to pray, “Thy kingdom come, thy will be done.” Why would He tell us to pray for His will to be done if it just happens automatically? If we don’t pray, His will is not done, and God doesn’t get involved.

  • Can A Person Lose Their Salvation?
    Mar 28 2024

If we believe a person cannot lost their salvation, then we must ask, "Do we lose our free will when we are saved?" If God will allow people to choose hell with their free will, why wouldn’t He allow us to depart from our salvation and reject Him with our free will? Also, why are there so many warnings in the Bible to avoid sin?

In today's episode, Bill and his wife Annette dig deeper into this controversial topic.
