2026 CDT Trail Correspondent JB Savereux - The Pre-Hike Interview

Host Doc welcomes French hiker and 2026 Continental Divide Trail correspondent JB Savereux to Hiker Trash Radio as JB prepares to start the CDT southbound from Glacier National Park on July 1. JB talks about taking daily English lessons to communicate on trail, reflects on completing New Zealand’s Te Araroa as rugged, wet preparation, and explains choosing the CDT as his first American long trail for its border-to-border route and fewer crowds compared to the PCT.
