2. Wilderness Calling

In this episode, we continue our sermon series, Summer in the Sand: learning from wilderness journeys in the Bible. In this edition, we find Moses wandering around the wilderness sand of Midian tending his father-in-law's sheep.

While plodding through the sand, far from the power and prestige of Egypt, God called him through a burning bush to lead His people out of slavery. Though Moses felt inadequate and unsure, God assured him that He would be with him and would equip him for the task.

In the same way, God often calls Christians while they are going about their everyday lives, and though the mission may seem overwhelming, He promises to provide the strength, guidance, and resources needed to fulfill His purpose. God's call always comes with His provision, and He equips those He calls.
