168: Please Stop Making Me Cry by Low Ceilings

I came across Low Ceilings a while ago, but needed to space out my Connecticut artists (shoutout Ginger Bug and Audio Jane) so I held off on featuring them. In the meantime, they quickly became a favorite, so much so that narrowing down a song from their epic six-album catalog was nearly impossible. I ended up going with “Please Stop Making Me Cry” because it’s a great example of what I aspire for my own music to sound like…if only I knew more than four chords. They also reminded me a bit of The Bicycats (episode 28) and Brooke Bowker (episode 155). Give them all a listen!
