When Hurricane Helene hit the Asheville area in September 2024, communities united to bring relief. On this episode, we’ll hear from Thomas O'Herin and Gabe Witte, both from the Seacoast Church Asheville Campus, who used their abilities and expertise to meet the needs of people after the storm. Neither Thomas or Gabe could have imagined the devastation that Helene would bring to their home community. But, through their generous hearts, and those of their loving brothers and sisters they formed “Team Humanity,” to bring unity in service to help each other in the darkest of circumstances. The two also tell of the priceless, non-monetary blessings they received as they tirelessly served the community without expecting anything in return.
