The Military Unpreparedness of the Redcap Regime has always been baffling

I love the Mike, your getting a little lazy on the military side of the equation. You did not even discuss the 3 precious attempts to manufacture effective weapons. Yes, the bungled attempts of the 7 weeks prior to The Bombardment were a failure but most importantly they were the 4th attempt in the less than 2 years.
I just want to highlight that during this period the Martian Republic had almost no manufacturing flexibility, and until they built a more robust domestic industry they would remain vulnerable.
