Welcome to The 1-800-GOAL-DIGGER Podcast. I am your host Mika Liu Chawla. This is a safe place where I share my personal goal-digging stories, life experiences, and struggles so you don’t have to. I am not an expert, a life coach, or a therapist. I am just your everyday regular gal who podcasts for fun. A lot of the stories I share are not glamorous, and in fact, one of my listeners said he appreciated my ugly truth. ✨New episode every other Monday✨An English Goal Digger Production Desarrollo Personal Éxito Personal

  • Season 2, Episode 2, After the Transition, Staying Through the Identity Crisis No One Talks About
    Apr 7 2026

Many women have asked me how I transitioned from the translation industry into tech sales. But almost no one has asked the deeper question: how did I stay once I got there? In this episode of 1-800-GOAL-DIGGER, I talk about the identity disorientation that follows a major transition. The part where the move looks right on paper, but internally, you feel stretched, unfamiliar to yourself, and unsure how to show up in a completely new environment.I share my own experience of moving from a smaller, familiar world into a much bigger one, and what it took to stay: tenacity, learning through discomfort, and seeking guidance from multiple mentors along the way. This episode is for any woman who has made a bold move and quietly wondered why it feels harder than expected. If you are in a season of growth, reinvention, or becoming, this conversation is for you.Timestamps[00:00] Navigating Career Transition[01:12] The Challenges of Identity in New Environments[04:24] The Importance of Tenacity and Mentorship[08:10] Embracing the Journey of Becoming1-800-GOAL-DIGGERA podcast about ambition, identity, and the real work of becoming.Find me on social: @1800goaldigger #1800GOALDIGGER #WomenInBusiness #CareerGrowth #CareerTransition #PersonalGrowth #WomenInTech #Ambition #Identity #podcastforwomen

  • Season 2 Episode 1, Why I Keep Coming Back to This Podcast, Returning As A Different Woman Than The One Who First Started This
    Mar 31 2026

    Welcome back to 1-800-GOAL-DIGGER.

This episode is my honest return to the podcast and to a version of myself I knew I wasn’t fully done with. I talk about why I stepped away, how my understanding of ambition has changed, and why I wanted to create a space where women can be honest, not just impressive.

This is a conversation about the hidden emotional weight behind ambition, the pressure of always looking like you have it together, and the kind of personal growth that doesn’t always show up on a résumé.

I also share the story behind the name 1-800-GOAL-DIGGER and why reclaiming that phrase meant something deeper to me from the very beginning.

If that resonates, I’m glad you’re here.

  • Episode 18. Becoming a Dog Mom and an Interview with Natasha, the Founder of Ween and Co
    Nov 27 2023

I am a changed person. Yes, a dog changed me. I am officially a bona fide dog mom, fur mama, mother of the howlhold. I know you are probably wondering where I’ve been. I am safe. Thank you for your concern. I have just been so preoccupied by raising my pawpect little fur baby.

And to re-introduce the 1-800-GOAL-DIGGER show to you all, this episode is going to be a little different. You guys and gals never complained about my monologue, but truth to be told, I’d like some variety for your pleasure. I interviewed my first guest. Natasha, the Founder of Ween and Co, a dog friendly social club.

We chatted about the highs and lows of being dog parents, sharing insights and lessons we've learned, and how our furry babies have totally changed our lives. Plus, Natasha spilled the beans on her journey to kickstart Ween and Co – it's a tale of passion, determination, and a whole lot of doggy love.

    Have a listen.
