04 – Christ at the Crossroads

In this episode Wayne talks about how being involved in the life celebrations of others gives us an opportunity to follow in the footsteps of Jesus. Throughout the gospel accounts we see Jesus constantly showing up and serving others at the crossroads of crisis and celebration. The truth is whether people are coming together for the celebration of marriage at a wedding ceremony, or saying goodbye to a loved one at a funeral ceremony, their hearts are open to God in a way they might not normally be. For those of us who are willing to show up in a similar way in people’s pivotal life moments, we will get the opportunity to serve like Jesus.
