019 RTF The Noahverse/Jordon Greene

The Noahverse is a fantastic YA series. The stories are complex, with characters that make cameos across all 4.5 novels. They do discuss some very difficult topics and the first novel has a very strong content warning that should be heeded.

Jordon Greene doesn't flinch away from the interaction of conservatism/Christianity and being a gay teen. He does start off with one of the worst things that can happen in that space but moves on to more positive and hopeful stories after the first book.

Of the stories *MY* favorite is Every Word You Never Said and we discuss this story in all of it's happy, uplifting, fun detail. The best thing about this story is that it even has a short comic drawn by the amazing Yayira Dzamesi. Yayira captures the look of the characters in a playful and joyous way that draws you in and I highly recommend getting a copy of this sweet graphic novel.
