Today on Coffee Connection, Julie sits down with Chantelle Diachina to talk about race and racism. Chantelle shares her experience as a bi-racial (mistakenly referred to as Black in the episode introduction, and very thankful to have been corrected by Chantelle!) woman in this world, and how her healing journey has affected the way she is showing up for the current movement. It has always been Julie's mission to share vulnerable stories and unique perspectives with the listeners of Coffee Connection, and she is truly grateful that Chantelle was willing to do just that. Conversations around race and racism are not easy. But they are absolutely necessary, if the equality that is rightfully deserved by all human beings, is ever going to be fully attained.
