I expected a scholarly work, explaining Zoroastrianism, not a propaganda piece that seems to have been written by some kind of an advertising agency. It is very repetitive in over and over again, just making kind of a advertisement statement.

This is mostly just an advertisement promoting Zoroastrianism

It's very vague. For example, the author tells you how rich their worship and prayers are, but doesn't tell you what they do for worship or tell you any of the prayers. A lot of that kind of thing. If you know a little about Zoroastrianism but want to really understand the basics of it, this isn't a great source.

This work is primarily made up of broad vague generalizations and unsupported commentarics conclusions without delving into details of what the religion actually teaches beyond what can be found in a one-page summary. You could find more information on Wikipedia. What a waste of time to listen to.

Excellent book, learned a lot objectively about the history and beliefs of Zoroastrianism. I personally don’t agree with the authors view on eastern religions, particularly on the idea that Zoroastrianism shaped and influenced the Abrahamic faiths when Hebrews existed long before Zoroastrianism.

Yes there is similarities between the beliefs, but those similarities existed in the Hebrew religion far before Zoroastrianism existed.

Great read, but the historical religious takes or claims by the Author, are intellectually or rather academically lazy.

Made me think.

Shallow, repetitive, and lacks all source literature. Even if free, not worth the time. Don’t bother.
