Absurd, Crude, and Just Plain Silly!

I received this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

I recommend this book for anyone who appreciates gross-out, lowbrow humor. This is the audiobook equivalent to a Troma film, ultra violent/gross/raunchy. While the plot makes little sense, it was fast paced enough to keep my interest. Not for the easily offended and certainly not for children. It is possible to enjoy, but is best enjoyed with the brain turned off.

Imaginative

An imaginative spin on zombies and dinosaurs. The story was very creative and the narrator did an awesome job with the characters.

A raunchy mashup of Predator and Jurassic Park lol. Enjoyed the humor and will definitely listen to the sequel!

Zombies vs Dinos after humans go extinct

Here we are again. Kent Hill's imagination is going to take over the internet someday. I honestly don't know where he comes up with this stuff from. See, when you say Zombie Park to me, I think of a place you can walk your zombie, maybe have your zombie meet up with other zombies so that they can play together, and just spend quality time with your zombie. Not Hill, he see a Jurassic Park style place that does what those theme parks do, and just when it looks like the zompocalypse has run its course we get Jurassic Commandos who show up to take on the Zom zoms.

The book is a rapid paced punch in the face with humor, zombies, and butt flappin' dinos. So. . . .about just what you'd expect from Hill. This is fun, silly romp, and while we didn't get any nazisuaruses we did get one hell of a crack zombie killing squad. So expect alot of murdery goodness and a lot of off the wall wackiness.

Bonus for me, and by extension YOU, this here book has been audiblized by none other than one of my fave narrators, J. Scott Bennett himself. He knows how to bring the on the whack and detail the crazy so this fits his style perfectly. Smooth as butter he is. Butter on th third step down from the top of a wooden stairway so that you slip and fall without knowing why, but enjoy the ride as you go. He is a master at his craft. You will enjoy him, I always do. Even though I did receive a promo code for this review it in no way influenced my considerations of the material, and in fact, inspired me to be more honest. Getting a code generally makes me harsher as a reviewer as I am more often concerned what someone like Me will decide based on my review.

Weird and different

This book took me totally by surprise. It is a dinosaur/highlander/irobot/harlem globetrotters. There were a few places where I became lost but with a minute or so it picked back up to where I knew what was going on. There weren't any zombies eating but we had lots of head removals with the highlander flow after. The humans are gone and the dinosaurs are running the show but... they are dinosaur/human.
The narrator did a great job and made the story more 3 dimensional. If you are into dinosaurs, have a crass sense of humor and love highlander with a twist then this is your book.

Zombie Park

So the apocalypse happens, and humanity is wiped out. The dinosaurs rise to take over. Or maybe humanity never happened, and dinosaurs just evolved into the characters of this book. Creative and imaginative

Very cool story!

I received this audio book for free in exchange for my honest review. The combination of excellent writing and stupendous narration makes this one a can't miss tale.

Zombie Fun

Zombie Park, as you can tell from the cover, doesn't take itself too seriously and I think that's a good thing for a short zombie horror story. I thought this was a huge amount of fun. The story is perfectly paced and the narration is good quality and brings it all to life. I have another one of Kent's books to listen to in the near future and am looking forward to it. Note: Asked for and got a review copy. However, this doesn't change the content of the review in the slightest bit.

fun twist/mix up of jurassic park and zombies!

a fun story that mixes up jurassic park and the zombie apocalypse with an interesting new twist. Definately not for kids due to language and adult situations... but fun for adults! I loved the writing andvtge twists used! And the narration was done very well!
