A good addition to the first book

This was a short, but impactful addition to book one. I enjoyed watching Zelia try to determine which road to take for her life, and struggling to make the right decision without knowing with certainty how to do that. It was well written and I would recommend if you have read the first book. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Great side story of Zelia

Nice to get more of the story and meet additional characters in this story. Narrator did good job with voices of the characters. Definitely a read After the original story or a person would become lost or at least not get the gist of the story.

strong characters, great world building, and impressive narration. I do recommend you read Zelia’s book first.

A WONDERFUL STORY FILLED WITH WONDERFUL ADVENTURE, AND THE NARRATOR DID A WONDERFUL JOB WITH THE AUDIBLE BOOK!

While the idea for Zelia as a character is interesting and the storyline is good, I just couldn't get into the story at all. I think it's a combination of the writing and the narrator. The narrator was quite flat, not making exciting or emotional parts exciting or emotional. But the main problem is the way the story is written. While Zelia is probably an interesting character, I feel nothing for her, he pain, losses... I'm indifferent to it all. I can easily get emotionally involved and invested in a story, so something is off here with the character development.

Great story

This was a great little short story in the timeline of Zelia's adventures. Once again, I found the characters well developed and interesting. A wonderful sideline to the primary Zelia book.

This short story fills in some details in the main story. She also has a home to return to once her quest is complete.

Decent story but hard to place in the main story

This book is decent, but the narrator does not match the actual zelia book and it is hard to follow with different pronunciations of names. Also it is confusing to try to pin down when the story happens. It appears to be sometime in the middle of the main story, but it isn't really pinned down so it is weird when some major evens are in past tense and others obviously haven't happened which makes it also hard to follow. If you have not listened to Zelia it is probably fine, and the story is nice.
