This Story Is Seductive

Publisher's Summary

Fear. Zack Greyson had never known the true meaning of the word until he suspected he might be gay - which wasn't an option for the personal trainer and ex-football star. He's tried to convince himself that his attraction to men is nothing more than just a mere curiosity, but when Jackson Parker walks into his life, that façade comes shattering down.

Jackson Parker is used to rejection because secrets never stay hidden forever. Left slightly broken and with no sense of belonging after his family's rejection, he's sought love in all the wrong places before. But meeting Zack, the hazel-eyed jock with killer dimples, Jackson steps out of his comfort zone and fights one last time for the happiness he knows he deserves.

Falling for a supposed straight guy was crazy, but for once, Jackson feels like his luck has changed, and he's finally found someone who won't throw him away. However, Zack struggles to discover who he is and who he wants to be. When his fear of coming out drives a wedge between him and Jackson, only one question remains. Which is stronger: love or fear?

Great book

Note to the editor.... you really need to go back and finish editing this book. I counted 15 missed edits in this book, at most I get normally notice maybe one!

great story.... really poor editing

The story itself was great and totally dragged me in. The editing, however, was definitely not its best. A lot of lines were repeated and started over, which totally pulled me out of the mood.

Basic

This book is a totally predictable coming out trope. Boys fall in love, one’s not out, the other get fed up and breaks it off, closet guy comes out, they get back together. Dialogue is stilted at times, sounding really unnatural. The narrator did the best he could with a mediocre script.

A struggle to finish

I had high hopes for this book, but it just didn’t do it for me. The premise was good, but there was just too much of the same identical back and forth. I love you, I’ll change, I’m sorry I hurt you again but I’ll change, etc. Also, the narrator didn’t add interest to the story. And so many mispronunciations! There were also numerous instances where parts of paragraphs were repeated. Does no one edit these books? The editors need editors. All in all a disappointment. I won’t be going on to others in the series.

Worth the time

It was a great book I didn’t think I was going to like it as much as the first one but I did. It’s a sweet love story with a few bumps but love conquers all

Good Listen

I enjoyed this book.. It was not quite as good as the first Awakening book but I really loved hearing about Michael and Gabriel happy ending in this story.. Zach and Jackson are great as well... It just got a little old with the back and forth of it all. ..
