Publisher's Summary

He will never forget.

The broken body hanging from a tree in Texas Hill Country...the frozen figure huddled in a meat locker...only at second glance does the truth become apparent. What seems like suicide is far more sinister, and the terror is only beginning....

Never forgive.

One devastating moment changed Greer Templeton's life and ended two others. Now, with a body found on her property and Texas Ranger Tec Bragg on her doorstep, Greer's nightmare has returned. With each new victim, her link to Tec's case grows, and soon it will be too late to run.

And never let them live....

Greer hoped the past was behind her, but an obsessed killer has never forgotten the bond that unites them. One by one, he will track down his victims, finish what was started - and make Greer's dying wish come true....

Well Done

I randomly came across one Mary Burton's books during one of Audible's sales and now I can't stop listening to her stories. ;) This narrator was excellent. He was easy to listen to and drew me completely into the story. From one narrator to another, well done! And Mary, keep these books coming! Love them!

Not believable in any way

The most annoying part was the narrators attempt at womens voices ... we sound pathetic throughout.
The story line is predictable and figuring out 'who dunnit' before you are supposed to is no fun. The actions of the leads are not plausible and sometimes just dumb.
If you are looking for a superficial way to fill a few hours, this fits.

I usually enjoy Burton"s books

I almost stopped listening several times, it was slow to start and I just got bored. the characters seemed 2 demensional and there were too many yah right moments. Try a different story she has many good ones.

Undetermined.

This book should have five stars but I could not give it. This has everything that could brought it an outstanding review I have given it a lot of thought but there is no passion in this story.I did not mean sex I mean heart feelings .emotion .Not sure if was the narration .But I just think it was blah.Ms. Burton had everything that could have made it a wonderful story .I simply could not muster any love for the characters Geer was not a sympathetic person I liked Tec the best. But he was so sexless K was irritated with him most of the book .I a.m 75 years old and it has always been my experience that men in love are a lot more info physical communications.I bought all the books in this series so I will continue on and see if I find Me Burton improves .

Good story

I liked the story and it kept me interested through out, not scintillating but interested. I don’t usually like the male narrators, especially when narrating the female characters. This true for the narration of this book. As a Texan I found the dialogue a bit inauthentic. The use ‘d such as in “I’d not”, rather than “I had not” or I hadn’t”is not typical use in my world. Throughout the book and with every character the same use was puzzling and distracting.
