In the tradition of the late, great George Carlin, Corey Taylor, the lead singer of Slipknot and Stone Sour, sounds off in hilarious fashion about the many vagaries of modern life that piss him off. Whether it's people's rude behavior in restaurants and malls, the many indignities of air travel, eye-searingly terrible fashion choices, dangerously clueless drivers, and - most of all - the sorry state of much modern music, Taylor's humor and insight cover civil society's seeming decline, sparing no one along the way, least of all himself. Holding nothing back and delivered in Taylor's inimitable voice, You're Making Me Hate You is a cathartic critique of the strange world in which we find ourselves.

I truly enjoyed seven deadly sins and it made me want to read this book. I really like Corey Taylor's writing style and his voice. The recording was good however there were multiple audio errors where edits were needed! It was Reading this book makes me want to go back and read seven deadly sins because it was written so well and with a great structure. Again, I really like Corey Taylor this book just didn't go anywhere.

Holly shit I Coudn't agree more. everyone thinks I'm a bitch for disliking any popular song that is played on the radio 20milion times, or in every stupid comercial thats trying to sale me something on a daily basis. it's completely ridiculous! my response to anyone that tried to contradict me and my music taste is: "you dumb fuck! you don't like that pop-shit song you just heard!. they made think you like it!"

Corey Taylor is not only an amazing lyricist, but, am incredibly talented, well-versed, tremendously well-spoken author, whom, in my opinion, has written a perfectly observed outline of what we, as a society, are truly like in all our disgusting and selfish splendor. Using spot on anecdotes, personal experiences, and his own spin of what he thinks and sees in oour behaviors both related and unrelated to his music career. His no holds barred dictation of the audacity and entitlement of the Gen Z'ers/millenial demographic, our very own demo, and even the baby boomers and Gen x groups arent safe. This is a refreshing and sharp viewpoint on the dysfunction we are all too quickly becoming accustomed to and getting way too comfortable in accepting as being "normal". So dig in and get ready to laugh and nod, smile and huff in frustration, and scoff and agree with his somewhat foul mouthed and slightly crude narration of the american dream from "The Neck" himself!
Thank you Mr. Corey Taylor! You have me happily surprised as i listen along to this super entertaining sketch of "life"!

Breathe in this Shit covered hilarity and agree with me!
