Loved it!

What a great book! Interesting, funny, good pace. The inside information and stories are just hysterical and now you can understand why this show ran 9 seasons. Phil Rosenthal is a guy you would want to get to know. So worth the listen.
Only drawback are the long silent gaps that hinder the enjoyment of the book and throw the pace off - I don't know why they did that.

Everybody Loves Phil!!!!

I just finished listening to this wonderfully funny book and I loved it and the author. Everybody Loves Raymond is one of my all time favorite comfort shows. And now I love watching Phil’s Somebody feed Phil. Thank u so very much for years of laughter and love. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

A wonderful and funny book.

Phil Rosenthal is a comedy great. He tells his own story in brilliant, funny and poignant way. Fantastic.

VERY FUNNY

I cannot say I that I am a fan for "Everybody Loves Raymond"
but I found this to be very funny and enjoyable.
I found many of the stories very easy to relate to and understand.
I wish more audio books could be like this one.
It is a must listen.
Maybe I will watch Raymond now. Who knows.

MEANT to be an Audio Book!

I don't think this book would have been nearly as interesting or funny as a traditional book - Phil Rosenthal does a fantastic job narrating! Plus, there are some audio clips inserted throughout this audio book.

My one criticism is the **frequent** gaps where there's no sound. At first they had me wondering if the book had stopped. They're particularly annoying because they often occur in the middle of the story. I've never experienced an audio book with gaps like this before. And, in another type of book it would have been a serious flaw. But, this book is so much fun that it's just a mild annoyance.

Why you listening to me

I’m not the comedy writer so go listen to one! Get the book! My family fell I love with Phil on his Netflix show Somebody Feed Phil. We have the cook book and are actually planning our vacations around the restaurant he ate at. Phil reminds me of a cherished friend you can’t wait to see and know it’s going to be a great day when together. Enjoy this audio and be like us and introduce Everybody Loves Raymond and Somebody Feed Phil to your farrel children.

Everybody Loves Phil Rosenthal Especially Me

Oh I absolutely loved this audiobook. I can’t imagine loving the actual book as much, because hearing Phil’s voice narrating the story was so fantastic and moving too. And of course very funny. After listening to this book on tape, I’ve started re-watching all the episodes and I’m loving it even more this time around. Thanks Phil and thanks Monica.

The only complaint I have is, there a bunch of long breaks, kept making me think my phone had shut off or something.

Great Storytelling

I've never seen an episode of Everybody Loves Raymond, I gave away my television in 1990 before I moved to California. What irony, since tv shows come from here.

Anyway, I bought this because it was about writing. I'm into the fourth hour, and I can't turn the iPod off. Phil is funny and honest and insightful and kind. This is the first five-star rating I've given an audiobook. It's brilliant and genuine. I just wish somebody had written a book about my favorite tv series, Cheers, and done what this writer has done.

I purchased this audiobook as a fan of Everybody Love’s Raymond, but soon realized Everyone should now love Phil too!

Phil has a genuine gift of storytelling that is not only humorous, but relatable.

From sharing his beginning struggles, to the finale of Raymond along with everything in between, this audiobook is a pure joy to listen to.
