Just buy and learn

Great book. Lots of practical advice of stuff you already know you should be doing. I like how the author breaks down the steps to help you along the way and hey “no shame no blame,” get on your way.

Best book on personal finances

This is one of the best books I've read about FIRE (Financial Independence Retire Early), it is a great starting point and it gave me more insight and ideas on how to manage my personal finances more effectively. Totally recommendable.

It does exactly what it promises

No more no less. This book is intended for the novice, the clueless person who is struggling with money and finances and offers a new outlook on things along with suggestions on solutions. It read as an introductory book to F.i. living. The rest is up to you. If you already know about F.i. or are already aware of it then the book’s content may just be a different persons presentation of it, but perhaps nothing new to you. Is meant for a beginner, and it does it well. This was something that I had already heard, read, or practiced on my own so in my case this was nothing compelling or new, even what I did necessarily agreed with, however I would recommend this to someone just stating out, a high school student, or someone looking for guidance on an alternative for financial independence. Everyone’s case is different don’t take what it says here to heart. Listen and make up your own opinion on the subject.

A book that started a movement--updated

Teaches principals everyone needs to know, and which our consumerist society fails to teach. Truly empowering. And, unlike so many self-improvement books, this book is detailed and practical in addressing "how to." Highly recommended.

Treasure Trove of Great Advice

I wish I found this book years ago. Many of the suggestions are things I have learned on my own. It would have been nice to avoid my past mistakes with money by receiving the advice in this book earlier. Today, my finances are back on track, and I learned several new things from this book which I will be implementing.

Takes a While to Get Into It but pretty good!

Starts out slow, talking about 20 year olds. Definitely picks up later on with content that applies to more than one age group and turned out pretty well. The narrator is not the best but the content is good.
