A beautiful adventure or children and adults alike

This story is in many ways very simple if you reduce it down the most basic message but we can rarely see what we possess within ourselves. Teresa allows us, through a young girls' experience, to see what we have within our power. The story is clever, multi-dimensional, unpredictable, and full of beautiful images, vision, connections, and magic. I found it to be quite fun and full of opportunities for self-reflection, even as a 54-year-old man, that I am! Through a child's eyes, I am certain it can show possibilities, expand wonder, and belief in one's own abilities, strengths and resolve.

To top it all off Teresa shows that she herself has an amazing amount of talent, skill, and self-confidence that can also inspire you and old alike. the depth and range of characters in this story, all played by the author, is mind-blowing. At no point did the voices or characters become confusing or unclear. It really is an amazing performance, that adds so beautifully to the story and message.

I also bought a hard copy so I could read it to young ones in my life the artwork adds another layer to the story and the author's creative expression and vision.

Well done Teresa Joy!

Excellent Performance of an Educational Story

The audible presentation of this book is exceptional. The young character, Vivian, meets a number of wise and wonderful creatures in her magical journey and each is uniquely and delightfully voiced by the narrator. Vivian discovers from these various characters how to BE in the world: observant, self-aware, patient, curious, appreciative, silly! Along the way she also learns about our wonderful planet and how to protect its trees and water. I think 3rd-6th graders would enjoy this thought-provoking story, but as a spiritually-minded adult, I loved it.

Just what I needed to hear.

This is more than a children’s book. It is an Oracle - a story of epic journey and the hero’s quest. A well written allegory for all ages. The joyful voice & magical songs immediately turn my frown upside down and make me feel more alive, adventurous and joyful.
