Compelling family drama.

I’ve been trying to widen my listening choices a bit recently and this was certainly a good one! The characters were well drawn and there were a number of storylines which all came together with no glaring plot holes or threads left dangling. The narration was pleasant and easy to listen to, though I did have to rewind a couple of times to catch which female character was supposed to be speaking. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed it and I’ll be checking out more books by the same author.

An absolute pearler.

Having read The Ex I was expecting everything to be turned on it’s head, but I didn’t see any of the twists and turns coming. Another fabulous book that I can unreservedly recommend.
