An absolute pearler.
Having read The Ex I was expecting everything to be turned on it’s head, but I didn’t see any of the twists and turns coming. Another fabulous book that I can unreservedly recommend.

Compelling family drama.
I’ve been trying to widen my listening choices a bit recently and this was certainly a good one! The characters were well drawn and there were a number of storylines which all came together with no glaring plot holes or threads left dangling. The narration was pleasant and easy to listen to, though I did have to rewind a couple of times to catch which female character was supposed to be speaking. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed it and I’ll be checking out more books by the same author.

Great female characters
FYI, the book contains stories of sexual assault which might be triggering.
I really liked this book. A story told through the voices of strong female characters.
The audiobook is really good, the narrator did some great voice work.

Missed the mark for me unfortunately..
Although I finished this, I can’t say I was drawn into it too well. I kept waiting for something big that never really came.. I predicted a lot of what did come, but even so.. It seemed disappointing. I would hardly call it a thriller unfortunately. Super disappointing as I love a good Moriarty book!

Not worth the read

Gripping and Brilliant
A fantastic array of characters and story telling, Felicity Jurd tells the story wonderfully and was a fantastic listen.

Had me hooked from the start
I really enjoyed this story. Felicity Jurd narrated the book brilliantly and the story had me on the edge of my seat from the start. Highly recommend it.
