This is an amazing, heart wrenching novella. Both narrators showcased longing and fear towards the end of the story. You can feel the emotion in their voices. Highly recommend!

The story takes place in a world that’s ending, but the drama of large-scale catastrophe is just the background. At the fore is a couple whose private world keeps ending, over and over.

Eventually, the outside world intrudes on their own, forcing our two main characters to make a climactic decision.

I’m trying hard not to spoil anything so that you can enjoy the surprises as much as I did! The only other comments I’ll add are: (1) both main characters are immensely likable, so I couldn’t help but root for them, and (2) the title is genius!

I also really enjoyed the performances of the readers!
