Religious but give it a chance

I currently feel like my world is crumbling. I am diagnosed with major depression and general anxiety. I am not religious.

This is definitely a memoir and she constantly talks about Christianity and bible verses. However, during a mental breakdown and right after getting off a chat with Lifeline, I saw this book and took the chance. Within 30 or so minutes and a lot of crying, this book really got me out of the deep. It did not heal me by any means but really did help when I was in a dark place. If you're not religious, replace God with the universe or life or anything you believe in and it still works. She talks a lot about being single which for me I cannot relate to currently. But again, you can use that as a metaphor for not getting the job you wanted or feeling abandoned by your family, etc., it will work.

TLDR; If you're in a bad place, take a chance on this book. Whether or not you agree with what she says and her beliefs, it can be reduced down to the story of a woman who lost everything and grew. Oh, and also she refers to her readers as women but take that with a grain of salt.

Awesome and so authentic

Been dealing with a let down in the dating department and this popped up. Figured I would give it a listen. So much of what she spoke of sounded like my life. Even though it's not where I want it to be I know I am enough.

Another great book by Mandy. She remains one of my heroes, and her books are always on time in my life.

What audible books should be!

This is the first audible book I could get through. Mandy’s voice is pleasant and easy to listen to. The book is so well written that I finished listening to it in 2 days. Whether you are Christian or not, she shares a message of hope that everyone can resonate with!

I really enjoyed listening to this book.It was definitely a blessing to listen to, and in so many areas it was very relatable to my experiences in life.

I needed this...believe it or not I have the same tattoos...Let it be...and Enough. Even having this and making sure i have the constant reminder on me, I needed this reassurance. Beautifully written, very spiritual, but I loved it. Thank you!
