The storytelling

A good story, but how did no one call out evil Shannon? Why was all the blame heaped at Natalie’s feet?

Clever and relevant story

Really nicely constructed storyline, slowly revealing the whole picture. Great use of online influencer and trad wife concepts to create a compelling story.

What a roller coaster ride

I usually stick to fantasy books.
Bought this as I’m kind of interested in the tradwife / manosphere trends and read a review of the book where they said the movie rights had already been bought.

It was a roller coaster of a book. Towards the end I actually felt a bit dizzy in sympathy to Natalie’s narrative.

A gripping mystery.

Super slow.

I found it very slow and frankly a very boring story.I never leave reviews but felt that I had to as there was such a hype about this and it did not live up to it for me.
