Learning how to write a book is easy. Learning how to write a book that doesn't suck and can actually make you money - and set you up for a full-time writing career is harder.
But it's nowhere near impossible. And it's far more doable than you can imagine. The trouble is, most books offering tips on how to write a book fail to address two key considersations: 1) Most self-published nonfiction books suck. 2) It's almost impossible to make a living from one self-published nonfiction book.

If you have read the title and think you need it t
Where does Write Your Book on the Side: How to Write and Publish Your First Nonfiction Kindle Book While Working a Full-Time Job (Even if You Don't Have a Lot of Time and Don't Know Where to Start) rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Sure, it is short. But that is just because he has cut out the fluff.
As he writes: Write something really, really useful. Well this is.
If you want to self-publish a book, this book is for you.
Just to be clear, this book is more about publishing than writing your book. That means if you are thinking of style, voice, outlining and such he doesn't go that deep.
He topics is well researched and he give valuable information. I would rather pay and learn than go looking for it hours on end. And that is exactly what this book is about. I'm sure the information is out there - if you are the type to want to sludge through all of it then don't get the book.
I would rather learn something useful and get to writing. This book gives me that.
Three best things about the book
1. PDF downloads. Some visuals help more than hearing it. So you get to listen and download it as well. Great addition.
2. No fluff. I would rather a couple hours of hard hitting book than a dallying one. He is to the point.
3. Personal examples. He tells you how he has done and what works for him. For me this does two things. It gives me a ballpark what to expect from my own book and it humanizes the content.
Negatives
The only negative I have was the narrator had a VERY American accent. Being in Europe it sound can harsh. But he speaking is clear and easy to follow.
