Publisher's summary

The dragons have declared war on humans. Two of the seven dragon sanctuaries have already fallen. Will Wyrmroost be next?

After a humiliating defeat at the hands of Kendra and Seth, Celebrant, King of Dragons, prepares to unleash his fury and take control of his native preserve. Armed with information from a new ally - Ronodin, the dark unicorn - Celebrant seeks a legendary talisman: the dominion stone.

However, the powerful stone is protected by a cursed castle. Can Kendra and Seth foil Celebrant's plan and beat him to his prize? Will the two young caretakers rally enough support from the creatures of Wyrmroost against the greatest threat the magical community has faced in ages? One this is for certain: Dragons are wicked smart. It will take more than Kendra, Seth, and their current allies to outwit and outmatch the wrath of the Dragon King.

Exciting series!

A great addition to an exciting series! I love the exploration of character and human nature that Mull establishes through the worldviews of Kendra and Seth. It is the type of book that youngsters and adults can enjoy together.

I enjoy Kirby Heybourne's narration MUCH more than E.B. Stevens, who narrated the original Fablehaven series. Still, Heybourne's reading is just a little slower than I prefer. A narration speed of 1.25 works for me with his style.

it's not bad

its slow in startong , but gets faster and more adventuresome the farther you get in the book. I not very pleased with the cliff hanger ending and some of the characters special abilities are inconsistent with what made them special in the fifth book of Fablehaven

Great book with a great cliffhanger

Followers of Kendra and Seth will enjoy this book. It handles multiple moving parties well and has magic and mystery in traditional fablehaven manner.

Great Story!

The story is great. The narrator is just alright. He didn't use many voices to distinguish between characters. I'm especially disappointed that he gave Tanu an american accent when he is Samoan.

Something about the story didn’t add up with the last few books.

I felt like there were switch ups in the story for what I learned in the previous books the main one being that Seth should be immune to the dragon fear and not the mesmerization of the dragons. That really confused me. There were a few other parts that got me confused as if Brandon was trying to patch up the story from the other books, but I might be overanalyzing it. It was still a really good book and I can’t wait for the next. This has been my favorite book series since I was a kid and I’ll hate to see the day that Brandon mull stops coming out with more.
